Lutakko - From Factory Area to Living Room for Jyväskylä Residents - Guided Walk

Lutakko was home to Schauman's plywood factory for over 80 years. The factory relocated in the 1990s, opening the area for residential development. Today, Lutakko is a popular residential neighbourhood where old and new Jyväskylä meet in tangible ways.

During the walk, you will see Schauman's castle, the undulating Lutakko park with its artworks, the Paviljonki exhibition and event centre, and Finland's most experiential harbour. You will also learn about Lutakko Leidiki. The sites are viewed from the outside.

The walk is held on 3.7., 10.7., 17.7. and 24.7. at 12:00. Departure from in front of Innova, Piippukatu 11. Duration approximately 1.5 hours, price 10 € / person. The walk is accessible and guided in English.
