Moonlight Canoeing

The trip begins as evening falls: we equip ourselves with lights and headlamps and paddle towards the moon bridge. Before the moon rises, we catch the sunset, and when the full moon appears, we continue our journey in moonlight. If it's cloudy, we paddle by the light of headlamps and boat lights on a September night.

The trip suits both beginners and more experienced paddlers - the pace is adjusted to the group's fitness, experience, and weather. The duration is 4-4.5 hours and the distance is approximately 6-7 km. Participants must be able to swim. Those under 18 can only participate under a guardian's supervision or with their written permission. The number of participants is limited to 8 people.

The price is 70 €/person and includes a kayak (kayak unit) and instructor services. The trip is led by paddling instructor, field guide, and nature guide Anni Lemmetty (Anniliikuttaa). If wind speed exceeds 8 m/s, the organizer reserves the right to modify or shorten the trip programme or change the date.
