Moonlight Canoeing

The journey begins as evening falls: we equip ourselves with lights and headlamps and paddle towards the moon bridge. Before the moon rises, we catch the sunset, and at our destination we paddle in the light of the full moon. If the weather is cloudy, we paddle by headlamp and boat light on a September night.

The journey suits both beginners and more experienced paddlers - the pace is adjusted to the group's fitness, experience, and weather. The duration is 4-4.5 hours and the distance is approximately 6-7 km. Participants must be able to swim. Those under 18 years old may participate only in the company of a guardian or with their written permission. The number of participants is limited to 8 people.

The price is 70 €/person and includes a kayak (kayak unit) and the guide's services. The journey is led by paddling instructor, field guide, and nature expert Anni Lemmetty (Anniliikuttaa). If wind speed exceeds 8 m/s, the organizer reserves the right to modify or shorten the journey programme or change the date.
