Outdoor Express - Leivonmäki National Park

Outdoor Express operates on weekends during the summer season and offers direct bus service from Jyväskylä city centre to Leivonmäki National Park.

The park has several routes from different starting points: from Rutalahti the Koskikaran nature trail (3.5 km) and from Selänpohja car park the Harjun loop (4.5 km) and Mäyrän loop (5.5 km). From Selänpohja there are also mountain bike routes and guided tours. The park has several campfire sites, and the Rutalahti-Selänpohja connection is suitable for overnight hiking.

The Harjujärvi accessible route is open to people with mobility disabilities, but is challenging due to its slope - bringing an assistant is recommended. Accessible places are limited: reserve a place at least two days before your trip by email [email protected]. Indicate in your reservation whether a wheelchair space is needed in the passenger area or whether the assisted person can sit on a regular bench. Free entry for the assistant when you notify this at confirmation.

Arrive at the departure point at least 15 minutes before the bus departs.
