Muska & The Hod Dogs at Juurikkasaaret 23.7.2026

Muska began her singing career in 1969 - at that time she was the only female Finnish rock singer. During 1969-71 she toured with Kirkan and Dannys summer tours, and together with Kala-Handen founded the band Muska & Hot Dogs, which toured with acts including Hurriganes and Rauli "Badding" Somerjoki.

Her first single "Kirjoita Postikorttiin" was released in 1971 and the LP "Muska" in 1973. The album features the legendary "Krokotiilirock" and covers of Chuck Berry, Nazareth, Suzi Quatro and Slade - songs that, performed by a Finnish female singer, became the catalyst for Finnish women's rock.

The concert takes place on Thursday evening 23.7.2026 at Paviljonki in Juurikkasaaret, Säynätsalo. Tickets 22 €/person.
