Saarijärvi-based printmaker Anneli "Ansu" Klemola turned 90 on 16 October 2025. Klemola graduated from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts as a painter in 1959, but is best known for her vibrant colour woodcuts. A meeting with fellow student Frans "Fransu" Toikanen brought her to Saarijärvi in 1960 to Frans's family farm, where the artist couple began their shared life - which the exhibition illuminates especially through Klemola's more personal works.

The exhibition surveys Klemola's artistic career. Alongside the colour woodcuts, rarer works are on display: paintings, ink drawings, and metal engravings. The works are drawn from the collections of Saarijärvi Museum, Saarijärvi Mannila Art Foundation, the Beda, Katri and Aune Hera Foundation, and private collections.

Admission: adults 10 €, pensioners and students 9 €, children (4-12 years) 5 €, under 4 years free.
