Night of the Arts: The Story of Kylliki

The Virvat group performs the story of Lemminkäinen and Kylliki based on the Kalevala: when Lemminkäinen abducts Kylliki, the Flower of the Island, the islanders' mockery comes to an end. The performance lasts approximately 15 minutes.

Virvat is a five-member recitation group that has performed for over 40 years as part of Helsingfors Kalevalaiset Naiset rf. The group combines Kalevala-based folk poetry and contemporary texts into performances suitable for both private celebrations and public cultural events.
