Petteri Sariola

Petteri Sariola is a guitarist and singer-songwriter known for his percussive playing style on acoustic guitar - a technique with which he recreates the sound of an entire band on his own. He picked up the instrument at age seven and, after several band experiments, developed his own distinctive style.

Sariola has released four solo albums and his fifth studio album Voyager in autumn 2025. The album launches a multi-part rock opera suite, with the next installment coming in the coming years. The final part of his album trilogy Resolution (2017) received five stars from Helsingin Sanomat.

He has been awarded the Nokia Young Talent scholarship, an honour from Helsinki Funk Awards, and City magazine's Guitarist of the Year award. He has performed over a thousand times across Europe, the USA, and Japan, accumulated millions of viewers on his YouTube channel, and served as a warm-up act for Tori Amos, Andy McKee, and Rodrigo y Gabriela, among others. He has performed alongside Jon Gomm, Mike Dawes, Elastinen, Robin, and Jenni Vartiainen.
