An Evening With Kiuas

Kiuas will perform several special concerts in autumn 2026 under the concept "An Evening With Kiuas" - at Tavastia in Helsinki, Olympia in Tampere, and Louhisali in Espoo. Concert times should be checked on Tavastia's website on the day of the show.

In the first half of the evening, the band will present their music re-arranged for acoustic instruments. In the second half, they will shift to the more familiar fully electric sound. Guitarist Mikko Salovaara comments: "We want to offer the audience a new side of the band, in a way where the music has space to breathe and live quite freely - perhaps we'll surprise both the audience and ourselves!"

After the concerts, Kiuas will focus on working on their Samooja II release, which continues the 2024 EP Samooja: Pyhiinvaellus. The band, which returned in 2021 with their original line-up, is currently preparing new material.

Tavastia's ground floor is accessible; there is a small threshold at the entrance with an accessible ramp, and the venue has an accessible toilet. An assistant can enter with the assisted person's regular ticket - upon request, an EU disability card is presented. Cloakroom costs 4 € per person, and outerwear and large bags must be left there for security reasons.
