Paketti is an open-source tool developed by Esa Ruoho for Renoise. The idea is to reduce friction between thought and sound - the user doesn't need to think about the software's functionality to create desired musical movement.
Lackluster is Ruoho's long-standing melodic and rhythmic project. Plugged Into Nothing is its complete opposite: two cables not connected to anything, producing walls of noise and sound design studies into worlds of hum, screech, buzz and other unwanted sounds.
The event is a three-hour package of sound that shifts and moves guided by consciousness and concentration. It simultaneously serves as a presentation of Paketti: the tools running on the computer are displayed on a wide screen, so you can follow them - or let the rhythmically organized sound play in the background alongside your own thoughts.
