MÖYHY-VEIKOT (ex-LOS ANGELES) takes the stage - Finland's three-headed duo with four full-length albums and roughly a decade of gigging behind them. Video art intertwines with the rock world, and water flows once more down to Lemminkäinen's temple.
The same weekend as the Suisto show, Satanen releases their debut album "Rokkii varten & taiteen vuoks". Recorded and mixed by Gunther Kivioja - known from the band Kissa - the album is raw jytärock whose tracks move around everyday and larger life questions. The lyrics address the unpleasantness of vacuuming, idols who turned out to be villains (Ted Nugent mentioned), low standards in masculinity models, and love in the service industry.
The band's singer and drummer Juuso Pikkarainen sums it up: "This is stupid music for smart people. The world is a sick place and people are terrible, everyone knows that, but still life and above all rock and roll is joyful at the same time."
Suisto is open 16-02.
