SJO x HPC: Animals — Kalasataman Vapaakaupungin Olohuone, Helsinki

Sointi Jazz Orchestra and Helsinki Poetry Connection present a stage poetry evening, launching the Sointi Kalasatama event series (19.7.-29.8.2026). The theme is animals, and the programme features texts performed by city residents with musical accompaniment by Oskari Siirtola.

Some performers have been selected through an advance call, but you can also inquire about the opportunity to perform on the day. You can perform your own or someone else's text, song, or other piece in any language you choose - performances are limited to 8 minutes maximum.

The event is hosted by Jussi Kiova from Helsinki Poetry Connection rf.
