Wanhan Vuosaaren Elojuhlat

Wanhan Vuosaaren Elojuhlat is held in Keijo Liinamaan park on Saturday 15.8 from 13:00 to 16:00. The event is a free outdoor celebration for the whole family - bring your own table in the spirit of a restaurant and cleaning day.

The programme includes donkey cart rides, a visit to Vuosaaren VPK's fire engine, circus skills at the Sirkus Magenta booth, poetry readings, performances by Näppärit, and target shooting with Viikingit ice hockey. Dogs from Itä-Helsingin Kaverikoirat can be petted from 13:00 to 15:00. Under the guidance of Marja Nyman, you can try Asahi health gymnastics - standing movements without equipment, suitable for everyone. The day's master of ceremonies is fisherman Hugo Sjöblom.

You can participate in the Vuosaari quiz throughout the event; results are announced at 15:30. Coffee and treats are sold by Vuosaaren Martas café, grilled sausages and mugs by the Lions Club Vuosaari booth. The Itä-Helsingin reserviläiset and Vääpelikilta booth has information about activities and a raffle.
