Ahti Lassila: Walking Bass

Ahti Lassila brings Walking Bass to Jyväskylä on Saturday, 8 August 2026 at 13:30. The acoustic double bass and exhibition spaces create a unique experience together, with the musician moving through the galleries and developing musical ideas in different locations. This performance is one of three Finnish dates on Ahti Lassila's tour. Objects, space, and instrument form a whole that gives the museum visit a new dimension. Lassila performs the work in two exhibitions: in "Keskisuomalaisuutta etsimässä" and in the exhibitions Freddy Fabris and Rallia.
