Ahti Lassila: Walking Bass

Ahti Lassila's Walking Bass brings the acoustic double bass into the sonic world of KeMu's exhibitions. Lassila moves through the exhibition spaces, developing musical ideas in different locations, and the objects, space, and instrument together form a whole in which a museum visit takes on a new dimension.

There are two performances: at 13:30 in the exhibition "Seeking Finnishness" and at 15:30 in the exhibitions Freddy Fabris and Rallia in Jyväskylä. Each lasts 30 minutes.

Ahti Lassila is a musician who plays both classical and rhythmic music and has visited museums with his double bass since 2015.
