Hallifest

Hallifest takes place on 4.7.2026 from 13:00 to 22:00 in Hallin town centre in Jämsä. Admission is free and the event is aimed at families. Organized by Hallin seutu ry.

From 13:00 to 17:30, activities are spread across the town square, Puistotie and Keskustie. Children can enjoy football practice, fishing lessons (biggest fish wins), face painting, bouncy castle, a car-tuning workshop for schoolchildren, and Pellepändi's performance at 14:00 - after the show, children can try instruments under Pellepändi's guidance. Competitions - the Hallin nut-twisting championship (children, teenagers and adults in separate categories) and a strength-endurance challenge - are open for entries until 17:15, with prize-giving starting at 17:30 on the square. On Puistotie there is a machinery exhibition: hobby cars, heavy equipment, rally cars, mopeds and other motor vehicles.

From 18:00 onwards, the event focuses on Hallin square. Performers: Arturo at 18:00, Divine end at 19:15 and Saturaatio at 20:30. You can bring a picnic or listen to the music from a nearby restaurant or cafe terrace. Weather permitting, you may see aircraft in the sky.

On the square, sausages and burgers made from locally-sourced beef are sold. Lions club holds an auction on the square at 17:00. Line dancing performance on the square at 15:00. At restaurant Hallin Jannen, bingo and trivia from 15:00 to 17:00 (open until 00:00); Linda's Retro Cafe offers sweet and savoury snacks (open until 22:00). Hallin Jannen's toilets are for customers only - portable toilets and a hand-washing station are available on the square all day. Alcohol licence in Hallin town centre.

Hallinportti aviation museum: open house from 12:00 to 17:00. Peijari Ismo multimedia show "A Year in Finland's Nature at Emppi" (Puistotie 1) at 13:15, 14:15 and 15:15.
