Olli Ahvenlahti New Quintet

Olli Ahvenlahti arrives at G Livelab with his New Quintet. Mirror Mirror (2024) marks Ahvenlahti's return to electric jazz funk following his previous acoustic album Thinking, Whistling (We Jazz Records, 2017). Before the album's release, the band performed under the name The Poet II, a clear reference to the 1976 classic The Poet - though the album was not created as a direct sequel but rather with the studio kept open to new directions.

The band features trumpeter Jukka Eskola, saxophonist Joonatan Rautio, bassist Ville Herrala, and drummer Jaska Lukkarinen. Ahvenlahti himself plays keyboards, listed on the album as "Fender Rhodes Seventy Three Electric Piano and Oberheim Synthesizer".

The ticket price includes a 3 € service fee. Student tickets require a valid student ID or other proof of student status.
