City Summer Games 2026

City Summer Games returns to Tampere, organised by Kokoomusnuoret. The event takes place on Saturday 15 August 2024, doors open at 14:30 and the programme starts at 15:00. Tickets cost €13 via kide.app, and registration closes on 9 August or when places run out - capacity is limited.

This year's guest speaker is Sami Metelinen, editorial director at Elinkeinoelämän valtuuskunta (EVA). His talk focuses on what Finland could learn from Switzerland, covering the pros and cons of a federal structure and how a debt brake could be implemented in Finland. His presentation is followed by open discussion.

After the talks, the group heads out into Tampere for the Games segment - checkpoints featuring lighthearted competition and tasks that test participants' creativity. In the evening, the sauna at Ratinanlinnan sauna (Aleksanterinkatu 32, 33100 Tampere) will be hot, with cold drinks and pizza 🍕 on offer. Bring your sauna gear if you plan to take a dip.
