Brian 10 Years

Brian celebrates the 10th anniversary of its debut album Rantalomalle Syyriaan on 3.9.2026 at Tavastia by performing the album in full for the first time - while the band also takes the stage at Tavastia for the first time. During this special evening, the debut is heard alongside tracks from all of the band's albums, and former touring bassists and drummers from the band's history join as guests.

The anniversary show also features a 10-year special edition of the album: previously available only on CD and long sold out, the album is now being pressed on vinyl for the first time with bonus material. Kata Laakso and Miro Palokallio founded Brian & Helvetin Perunan in summer 2016, originally as a joke. The band accidentally landed a recording contract, but the album's distributor pulled out at the last minute due to the album's name - Kari Hynninen's label Suomen Musiikki released it anyway, and it became a cult classic.

The four-piece touring lineup has been working in the studio on the compilation album Brian's Best, where songs previously performed by Kata and Miro as a duo are now heard in the full band version. The sessions feature drummer Aarni Palokallio and the band's eleventh touring bassist Otso Gasser. The album will be released in summer 2026, but singles are coming out during spring.
