The sixth Poetry Walk takes place in the Seminaarinmäki landscape on Eino Leino's day - the day of poetry and summer. Departure at 18:00 from the University Gate beside the university library Lähde. The route winds through the paths of Seminaarinmäki and ends at the Writers' House, where light refreshments are served. The route is not wheelchair accessible. In case of heavy rain, the event moves indoors to the Writers' House.

The Poetry Walk is organized by Central Finland Writers. The concept's creator, poet AP Kivinen, guides the listeners along the route in his customary manner.

Poets along the route:

OLLI-PEKKA TENNILÄ has published four poetry collections and works as editor for Poetry and chair of Central Finland Writers. His second book Simple is Double (2012) won the Runeberg Literary Prize, and his third poetry collection Empty Grey (2016) was chosen as Book of the Year for Aphorisms and ranked second among Finland's Nordic Council Literary Prize nominees. Tennilä's works have also been nominated for Yleisradio's Dancing Bear and Helsingin Sanomat's literary prizes.

KATI RANTALA-LEHTOLA is a former softball player and current writer-poet as well as a writing teacher. During the poetry walk, she reads excerpts from her poetry collection Wind Doors (2022), whose poems address commitment, cramped spaces, and disappearance - but also expansion and discovery.

ANNIINA LOUHIVUORI writes both poetry and prose. Her debut poetry collection The Day Mary Was Hanged was published in 2024 and explores humanity's power relations with animals through real-life stories and myths. During the poetry walk, verses are also heard from an upcoming collection that delves into the muddy layers of the dystopian village of Jokiranta. Louhivuori's first novel will be published in spring 2027 by Otava.

AP KIVINEN has published five poetry collections and is a Poetry Slam champion (2015). During the poetry walk, texts from his latest collection Sun Dance (2025) are heard, which is a journey through water and fire.
