Friday Jazz Club: Jazz Jkl Collective feat. Mikko Antila

Jazz Jkl Collective and vibraphonist Mikko Antila perform in Jyväskylä on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 7 p.m. The concert traces a century of vibraphone history - from Lionel Hampton to contemporary masters, including Finnish musician Severi Pyysalo. The vibraphone was developed in the United States during the 1920s and entered jazz in the 1930s. Antila charts the instrument's journey through different jazz eras. This is one of two Finnish dates on Antila's tour - the second takes place in September in Turku. Tickets cost 15 euros (students 10 euros), with a support ticket option at 30 euros.
