Music in the Botanical Garden

Music in the Botanical Garden is a free outdoor event in Jyväskylä where the JKL.RAVES collective plays electronic music suited to summer evenings. The event features giant soap bubbles and the characters Täti Tättärään and Kissa Kuu. You can dance - the event is alcohol-free and open to everyone.

Botanical garden designer Hanna Keljo leads a guided walk through Jyväskylä University's botanical garden in the Mattilanniemi area from 16:00 to 17:15. The walk lasts approximately 1 hour 15 minutes and departs from the Arto Sipisen raitin pedestrian bridge on the Mattilanniemi side (at the corner of the MaA building). Entry is free, but the walk is not wheelchair accessible and accommodates a maximum of 30 people. The event is organized in collaboration with the City of Jyväskylä, Jyväskylä University's botanical garden, the science museum, and JKL.Raves. It is part of the Kehä Vihreä Helmet theme year, which celebrates the 10th anniversary of Kehä Vihreä.
