Riko Saatsi as Author Guest

Kanneltalos author guest is Riko Saatsi. His work Yönistujat is a 2025 Finlandia Prize nominee - the novel explores Karelian identity and evacuation, and Saatsi has described it as his way of advancing the status of the Karelian language. His other works include the short story collection Hyviä aikomuksia (2021) and numerous theatre productions.

Saatsi will be interviewed by literary scholar Hanna Karhu, PhD. The event is organized in collaboration with Kannelmäen Library and Kanneltalos cultural services. Free admission.
