Reading Dog Noppa

Learning to read or looking for more confidence? Myyrmäen Library's reading dog Noppa - a Shetland pony dog with official reading dog training from the Kennel Club - listens calmly without judgment or comments about mistakes.

The reading dog is intended for everyone over 5 years old. You can read your own book or choose one from the library's collection. Reading time is approximately 15 minutes, and the instructor is present but does not interfere with the actual reading.

In autumn 2026, Noppa will be present every other Tuesday from 8.9 to 15.12 at 15:30-16:30. Booking starts in August - reserve your time from the library's customer service or by phone 043 825 1308.
