AI Solution Sprint

AI Solution Sprint is a two-day hackathon-style event on 9-10 September (Wednesday-Thursday, 8am-5pm) at Maria 01, Helsinki, where international students and AI startups team up to tackle real challenges in the AI technology industry. Teams are randomized, and no prior AI experience or expertise is required. The event is open to all international students studying in the Helsinki Capital Region, regardless of educational background.

Participants can earn 5 study credits. UAS students can register under course codes SER029AS2AE-3016 (Bachelor) or DIG707HH0YE-3001 (Master); university students should check with their own institution about credit transfer. The credit path includes a preparatory online session on 1 September at 2pm-3:30pm, a pre-event task, and a post-event reflection. Attending just the 9-10 September event without credits is also possible.

Lunch is provided. Networking continues after the event on both days. If applications exceed capacity, organizers will consider applicants' motivation statements. Register by Friday 16 August at 4pm.
