Sisus Sirkus: Memoirs of Mud - Helsinki Circus Festival

Memoirs of Mud is an absurd and playful contemporary circus adventure where acrobatics, mud, and imaginative objects collide nature with artificiality. Two performers navigate with acrobatic virtuosity through sterile environments and muddy terrain - balancing on swaying trapezes, wrestling with ginger horns, and transforming briefcases into greenhouses and potatoes into crowns.

The performance is part of the first Helsinki Circus Festival, a four-day festival featuring 13 circus works in various styles, new magic, and children's performances. At Caisa, Memoirs of Mud and Suddenly - and other ways to change are presented. The festival is produced by Pro Sirkus ry together with Cirko, Stoa Cultural Centre, and Caisa Cultural Centre, with circus also shown in a circus tent on Suvilahti field and the surrounding street area.
