Fatboy (SWE)

Swedish rock band Fatboy celebrates its 30-year career in 2026. Founded in 1996, the band is known for its uncompromising energy and ability to create authentic rock'n'roll on stage. The music has been described as "progressive rockabilly in minor" - a genre where the band stands out through its constant curiosity about new music while maintaining a strong connection to roots music.

To mark the anniversary year, Fatboy heads into the studio at Easter 2026 to record its 30-year jubilee album, with singles being released throughout spring. The band has welcomed a new member: Thomas "Kakan" Schuldt from Eskilstuna, previously known from the front row of Fatboy's concerts. He plays upright bass, electric bass, and provides backing vocals.
