Blind Gut Company: Maannos - Helsinki Circus Festival

Maannos is a solo work by Tuomas Vuorinen where video art and juggling intertwine. The piece emerged from a quest to recover lost connection with nature: guided by childhood dreams, Vuorinen invites the audience on a journey along forest threads, to the voices of animal spirits and deep waters. This adventure, resembling a video game quest, moves between the boundaries of dream and reality.

Maannos is presented at the Helsinki Circus Festival, held for the first time in September 2026. Over the four-day festival, four circus works will be shown at Stoa: Maannos, Aikakone, Kajo and Häppy Hour - spanning performance, comedy, art circus, new magic and children's shows. In addition to the performance venues, circus will be presented in a circus tent on the Suvilahti field and in the surrounding street areas.
