Encounters - Art Festival

The Encounters art festival organized by antiracist artists ART rf takes place on Thursday 23.7.2026 from 12.00 to 19.00 at Pasila Library. The day's programme includes panel discussions, a lecture, workshops and performances, as well as the chance to meet artists from various fields in person.

Honored guests include author Koko Hubara (Literature Meets People - panel discussion), stand-up comedian Fathi Ahmed, and the Al Hureya Dabke dance group, who both perform and lead an open dabke workshop for everyone.

From the artists' sales tables you can find art, publications and other creative products directly from the creators. The event also features a Falafeel stand where you can get vegan lunch and coffee.
