Jevgenia Vassiljeva: The Memory of the Herd

The Memory of the Herd is an exhibition by Jevgenia Vassiljeva built around animals, inherited memory, and timeless instincts. The works explore fear, courage, direction, belonging, and the invisible knowledge passed from generation to generation.

Vassiljeva is a contemporary artist based in Tallinn who paints large-scale acrylic paintings. After studying graphic design at the Estonian Academy of Arts, she has developed her own visual language featuring deer, hares, horses, dogs, lines, and hidden symbols - imagery that feels both ancient and immediate.
