Kaakon retket is part of the Youth Budget initiative and is designed for 13-17-year-olds. In the Youth Budget, young people decide how the city's youth services budget is spent - the southeastern youth work unit received 10,000 euros this year for youth outings. The trips are organized to destinations chosen by young people throughout 2026.

Note: You can participate in only one Youth Budget outing. If you participated in the karting trip organized during winter break on 18.2., you cannot participate in these trips.

Mon 3.8. Karting - 18 participants
We meet at 14:15 at Hertsins library and travel by public transport to an indoor karting track in Vantaa. You need an ABC card (available from us if needed). We return to Hertoniem by 19:30 at the latest. Bring long-sleeved and comfortable casual clothing, plus regular shoes or sneakers - sandals or bare feet are not allowed. Food is not provided, so bring your own snacks and/or money.

Tue 4.8. Linnanmäki - 25 participants
We meet at 13:45 at Hertsins youth centre and travel by public transport to Linnanmäki. You need an AB card (available from us if needed). Group return to Hertoniem around 19:30. With parental permission, a young person can stay at Linnanmäki without a supervisor for longer. Food is not provided, so bring your own snacks and/or money.

Wed 5.8. SuperPark - 25 participants
We meet at 13:45 at Hertsins youth centre and travel by public transport to SuperPark in Vantaa. You need an AB card (available from us if needed). We return to Hertoniem around 18:30. Bring clothes suitable for movement and a water bottle. Food is not provided, so bring your own snacks and/or money.

Thu 6.8. Paintball - 25 participants
We meet at 13:45 at Hertsins library and travel by public transport to the Paintball park in Vuosaari. You need an AB or CB card (available from us if needed). Game time is around 2 hours and we return together.
