Karhupuisto - 30 Years as the Residents' Living Room

Karhupuisto's 30th anniversary celebration begins at 1 p.m. in the accessible Kupolisali hall at Kallio Library, where the photo exhibition "Karhupuisto - 30 Years as the Residents' Living Room" opens. The opening features an interview with Reijo Muurila, who originally came up with the idea of making Karhupuisto the residents' living room.

After the exhibition opening, the celebration moves to Kallio's summer streets: at 2 p.m., the police orchestra's children's ensemble Nallekopla performs on Fleminginkatu near Karhupuisto. The programme also includes sausage grilling, face painting, and pin-making.

In case of bad weather, the entire event will be held at Kallio Library.
