Author Minna Eväsoja on Visit

Writer and Japan expert Minna Eväsoja is a guest at Vuosaaren Library on Thursday, September 17 at 6 p.m. Katri Sola serves as interviewer.
Eväsoja has spent years in Japan and studied at Takarazuka and Kobe universities as well as at the Urasenke traditional tea school in Kyoto. Over two decades of academic work as a researcher have shaped her body of work: she has written several books on Japanese aesthetics, arts, and society, and continues to work as a lecturer. She currently lives with her family in Tapiola, Espoo.
The event is part of the "Love" tour of Helsinki's eastern libraries.
