Minna Eväsoja is a Finnish author and Japan specialist who spent years living in Japan, studying at institutions including the Urasenke tea school in Kyoto. Her books explore Japanese aesthetics, arts and society - titles include Melkein geisha (2016) and Sensei - Oppilaana Kiotossa (2023). She also works as a lecturer and has over two decades of academic research behind her.
