Library Night Adventures in Martinlakso

Martinlakso Library in Vantaa hosts a night of adventure: the programme features a performance by Teater Vanda, crafts, and a quest trail.

Teater Vanda: The Night of Mr. Hakkarainen
2-2.30 p.m. Age recommendation 2-8 years. Free, no advance registration required.

Mr. Hakkarainen, who walks in his sleep, guides young audiences to peek at what happens at night when others are sleeping - garbage collectors, doctors, and many others are at work, while poets and the heartbroken stay awake. The performance is based on books by Mauri Kunnas.

On the quest trail, children tackle tasks related to bedtime and sleep. Children who can read can progress on their own, younger ones with an adult - and at the end, everyone receives a small prize. The timing of the quest trail will be confirmed later, as will further details about the crafts.
