Olivier Latry and Shin-Young Lee perform together four-handed - and four-footed. The first and last works in this dance-themed programme form a dramatic contrast: the evening opens with the elegance of Jean-Philippe Rameau's ballet-opera and culminates in one of music history's most violent dances.

In Igor Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring, a young girl dances herself to death as a sacrifice to the spring gods in an ancient ritual. The organ version performed here is adapted from Stravinsky's own piano arrangement.
