Nordic Language Café

At the Nordic Cultural Centre's language café, you can practice Nordic languages with native speakers. Available languages include Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Icelandic, and North Sámi. Both beginners and more advanced participants are welcome, and coffee is served.

Each language has its own table, marked with the country's flag. A native speaker leads the conversation, but topics are decided together. Each participant chooses how actively they want to join in - and can practice one or several languages during the same evening. You are free to come and go.

The language café is held at the Nordic Cultural Centre's library from 18:00 to 20:00 on the following dates: 23.9., 21.10., 18.11., and 16.12.2026.
