North Carolina-bred guitarist and vocalist Becca Stevens has spent nearly two decades crossing genre lines - from Appalachian folk and jazz to indie rock and contemporary classical - releasing nine albums and collaborating with some of the most inventive musicians working today. Her 2024 album Maple to Paper, recorded live with no overdubs, marks a turn toward solo intimacy after years of richly collaborative work.
