Our Maunula: Art from Maunula Primary School

In the artworks of Maunula Primary School students, the familiar neighbourhood appears green, textured, and inviting to play - full of meaningful corners and memory-laden places. The inspiration comes from everyday moments: from their own home gardens, parks, school routes, and shops.

Many students have also chosen to examine the old school building, which was temporarily vacated during renovation work.

The exhibition features 44 artworks and offers a glimpse into the diverse - and sometimes surprising - ways children perceive their own neighbourhood.
