Idän Voima, Ateena

Bar Loose hosts two bands on Saturday, 19 September: Ateena and Idän Voima. Both are preparing new albums, so the evening will feature plenty of previously unreleased material.

Idän Voima is a sextet whose audiovisual performance combines authentic Ostrobothnian melancholy with guitar, rock'n roll, and psychedelia.

Ateena plays instrumental jazz-rock where rhythm and melody meet in an original way. The band's debut album "Ateena" was released in spring 2025 and has gained attention internationally - notably, the British magazine Jazz Journal praised it in their autumn 2025 issue. New music is expected in autumn 2026.

Schedule: doors open at 20:30, Ateena at 21:00, Idän Voima at 22:00. Tickets at the door 14 €, if available. An entrance fee of 3.50 € is also charged at the door.
