The programme features hits including "L'Italiano", "Solo noi", "Innamorati", "Serenata", "Insieme: 1992", "Donna" and "Soli" - performed by Italian soloists and musicians. For Finnish audiences, "L'Italiano" is also familiar through Kari Tapio's version "Olen suomalainen".

Toto Cutugno was a composer and songwriter whose melodies were performed by artists such as Joe Dassin, Dalida, Adriano Celentano, Mireille Mathieu and Ricchi e Poveri. He composed Joe Dassin's songs "Et si tu n'existais pas", "Salut" and "L'Été indien", won the Sanremo Festival and Eurovision.
