Jyväskylä Peace Week 2026

Jyväskylä Peace Week, 19-25 October 2026, is an open event week for everyone, exploring peace from multiple perspectives - through discussions, listening, and collaborative action.

The week's programme features music and art, expert presentations, and meetings. The main events are the Peace Walk with the theme "Sources of Peace - values of hope, care and enlightenment" and RauhaFest at Veturitalleilla.

Peace Week is religiously and politically independent. It is organised by Jyväskylä's network of religions and worldviews USVA, Central Finland Peace Advocates rf, and the Finnish Nature Conservation League's Jyväskylä region association. The week's patron is Jyväskylä city council chair Jukka Hämäläinen.
