Joutsa Festival Races

Joutsa racecourse hosts local racing once again. The programme features nine races: two pony races, two monté races for cold-blooded and warm-blooded horses, plus three cold-blooded and two warm-blooded harness races.

The first 120 visitors receive coffee and cake, with additional food available from the café. Children can enjoy a pony-riding track, face painting, and a pony-riding competition held on the home stretch. The event also features HileLeppis, a raffle with attractive prizes, and fan merchandise sales. Ticket buyers are entered into a draw for a product prize.

Following tradition, the previous year's horse is honoured at the races, and to mark the anniversary year, distinguished society members are also recognised.
