Nature Next to Urban Life Walking Tour

This guided walking tour departs from Jyväskylä's city centre and heads towards the riverbanks, ending at Tourujoki nature reserve - a green island in the heart of the city. The area features a 700-metre nature trail that follows the riverbanks and partly runs along wooden boardwalks. Along the way, you'll learn about Jyväskylä's history and the evolution of the river valley.

The tour runs on 4.8. at 18:00 and 22.8. at 14:00. The starting point is Asemakatu 7, in front of the tourist information centre. The tour lasts 1.5 hours and tickets cost 10 € / person. The tour is conducted in English.

Note: The route is not wheelchair accessible. Sturdy shoes are recommended.
