G Liveslow: Lawrence English (AU)

G Liveslow is G Livelab Tampere's concert concept where live music is heard in a peaceful setting on a yoga mat. In this second concert of the series, Australian artist, composer, and curator Lawrence English performs.

English's work moves within aesthetic research and examines the politics of perception as well as questions of space, agency, and memory. He makes strong use of embodied live performances and site-specific installations that invite audiences to reflect on their relationship to listening, place, and embodiment. Over the past decade, he has explored sound as a vehicle for bodily experience. In 2022, the Institute of Modern Art named him honorary practitioner of the year.

The ticket price includes a 3 € foyer service fee. A student ticket requires a student ID or other proof of student status.
