In Honour of Ukraine's Independence Day

Ukraine's Independence Day is celebrated in Jyväskylä at an event organized by Aurora4UA rf. Admission is free and all proceeds go towards purchasing a vehicle and portable charging stations for Ukraine's defenders - the vehicle enables evacuation of the wounded and transport of humanitarian aid, while the charging stations keep communication and medical equipment operational during power outages.

Food is available: borsch, homemade pirozhki, chebureki, cakes and pastries, plus beverages. Beauty professionals are also on site offering services such as nail care, haircuts and eyebrow shaping.

Children's activities include face painting and workshops. Handmade products, souvenirs, clothing with unique prints and other charity items are also for sale.
