Ukulele Basics

Ison Omenan library in Espoo offers a beginner ukulele course for adults and young people aged 12 and over. No previous musical experience is required, and the library provides instruments for the lesson.

Classes cover playing position, chords, and accompaniment techniques, with a repertoire of Finnish and English songs. The group meets on Thursdays from 10.9 to 26.11 at 17:00-18:00. Note: no class on 15.10 (autumn break).

Participation is free and no advance registration is needed. The course is led by music educator Sakari Heikka (sakari.heikka@espoo.fi).
