Do words or numbers get jumbled? Does text jump between lines, does reading feel heavy, or is it hard to grasp the whole picture and find what matters?

HERO (Helsinki Region Association for Different Learners) offers free reading advice at the library. The advice is given by HERO's special education professionals, and the service is designed as practical support for everyday learning.

In the consultation you will receive information about dyslexia and other learning challenges, concrete tips for reading and writing, and guidance on useful apps and assistive tools (e.g. audiobooks, speech recognition, text structuring tools). Conversation support is also available for everyday learning situations.

Sometimes reading dog Halla joins in, bringing calm and encouragement to the reading experience 🐾
