Konala Cartelli - 25th Anniversary Concert

Konala Cartelli celebrates 25 years at On The Rocks. The hip-hop group from Konala in Helsinki, founded in 2001, tours with nearly the original line-up: producer-rapper Visva, producer-DJ Jivefunk and rappers Mängi, Gabi, Veejay, Stabi and Solonen (known from YleX's Lyömättömät). The group is known as one of Finland's most successful hip-hop scene self-released bands.

In the early 2000s, the group achieved exceptional popularity without support from a major record label. The debut album Kämmenlaiva and the mixtape Kuuminta Hottia both exceeded 2,000 sold copies and were sold mainly hand-to-hand at festivals and concerts. At Pipefestival, Konala Cartelli always drew one of the largest audiences. In late 2011, the group returned with the gold single Jep Jep Joo, which has accumulated over two million streams. Since then, singles such as Macho, Mäkikotka and Miami have been released.

The tour features a selection from the group's 25-year history, from underground classics to the latest releases. Currently, Konala Cartelli is also working on new music for the tour.

On The Rocks premises are accessible with mobility aids, but the space is not fully accessible - there are stairs and thresholds. Staff assist with access to the club on the lower floor via lift.
