Seija Riekkinen: Reflections (art exhibition)

Seija Riekkinen created her works over the past few years following her retirement. She describes her pieces as reflections of everything around her - experiences and observations transferred onto paper and canvas as a lived life.

Riekkinen studied art therapy at the Inartes Institute, and her studies gave her courage to use colour boldly and discover the joy of painting. Throughout her career, she worked in the church as a hospital chaplain and supervisor, and art has been her constant companion.

The exhibition is open during the library's regular hours.
